Overview
Ronseal Garden Furniture Teak Oil is a water based oil that replenishes and restores your exterior wood. This formulation penetrates the wood and offers long lasting protection whilst replacing the natural oils lost through weathering and emphasising its natural colour.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust, algae, fungi or moss.
- To clean wood give it a good brush with a stiff brush to remove any dirt, debris or loose wood.
- If the wood has been previously stained, painted or varnished, we recommend you strip it back to the bare wood. For previously stained decking use stain stripper.
- For wood that has turned grey over time, use Ronseal Hardwood Garden Furniture Restorer.
- If your wood has been effected by algae, fungi or moss this must be removed and can be cleaned with products such as .
Application
Before applying shake the product thoroughly and test a small area to ensure you are happy with colour and adhesion. Colours can vary dependant on surface to be treated.
- Make sure the temperature is above 10ºC and there’s no rain forecast.
- Give the tin a thorough shake to ensure the consistency is smooth.
- Pour the oil on to a cloth or brush and apply to furniture, working it in well.
- Allow to dry a couple of minutes, then wipe away excess with a clean cloth.
- Allow to dry for 24 hours.
- Apply another 2 coats allowing 24 hours between each.
Note: Always follow the manufacturer instructions found on the tin.
Aftercare & Storage
To keep your garden furniture looking good as new and to protect the finish, regularly clean the furniture.
If there are any stains, scuffs or damage that can’t be cleaned, lightly sand the affected area and apply a light coat of Teak Oil to remove the mark.
